Here is the presentation in which our evaluation project lead, Jessica Pugil, explains the evaluation process, its timeline, and how we are asking grantees to engage.

This presentation provides an overview of the framework for an asset-based, equitable approach to rural development proposed in the book “Investing in Rural Prosperity,” which was published by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis in collaboration with the Federal Reserve Board of Governors. In addition to broadly covering the framework, the webinar also walks through its application to rural entrepreneurship and small business development specifically. A one-pager of key takeaways can also be found here.

Our December 13th Learning Topic “The Ground Game; Demand Driven Ecosystem Building Key Learnings Over the Past Five Decades” was presented by Don Macke, Senior Vice President of e2 Entrepreneurial Ecosystems. Drawing from deep experience working in entrepreneur-led community economic development and entrepreneurial ecosystem building across North America, Don shared key learnings about the e2 Ground Game. The Ground Game is the core element energizing any place-based entrepreneurship game plan, and it can empower an optimal and efficient demand-driven entrepreneurial ecosystem-building strategy.
